Bunzl Canada Brings Free Home Cleaning to Cancer Patients in Four Canadian Cities

Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene volunteers give 20 families time to focus on healing

BURLINGTON, Ontario, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bunzl Canada is proud to complete its 2026 Cleaning for a Reason, an ISSA Charities™ signature program that gives free home cleaning to people undergoing cancer treatment. This year, 25 volunteers from Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene locations across Canada joined ISSA Canada and partners across the industry and hosted all four 2026 Canadian Volunteer Days in Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and Montreal. Together, they helped provide complimentary home cleanings for 20 cancer patients and their families.

Cleaning for a Reason is celebrating 20 years of support in Canada. Since 2006, the program has helped 2,225 cancer patients across the country and donated more than $725,860 in cleaning services. Bunzl Canada is proud to have partnered with Cleaning for a Reason since 2024.

More Than a Clean Home
For someone going through cancer treatment, a clean home means one less thing to worry about. It gives patients and their families more time to focus on healing and on each other.
